Enough quietude! Time to make a big noise. I live in Mississippi, far from the debate action, but close enough to take a little bit of contact pride in this historic moment. That added to the soap-operatic antics of John McCain has made this appointment TV. I’ve got my laptop out, and I may have a thing or two to say before it’s all done. 8:10 – Hmm, so far Obama’s a little stiff and McCain’s borderline incoherent. We’re off to a good start. Seems to be a great war going on between Wall Street and Main Street. Lehrer’s trying to break some significant ice here. Im impressed that we’ve just jumped straight into the economy in a “foreign policy” debate.
